With Christmas and New Year coming up, July 2021’s Health Information Week (#HIW2021) seems a long way away. But, we know people are starting to plan now.
If you’re stuck for ideas, we’d like to share some tips to get you started.
Why not begin with some inspiration? A number of teams from around the country have shared their local evaluations here.
Take a look and learn what went well for other people, and get some ideas you could use!
Check out the “Ideas Bank” and the list of resources for “Online Events,” at healthinfoweek.wixsite.com/healthinfoweek/resources.
The “Ideas Bank” includes topics such as “Fun ideas to draw a crowd!” and “Beyond displays” to help you run effective and engaging events.
The national evaluations for #HIW2019 and #HIW2020 are another useful source of ideas and inspiration.
The #HIW2021 logo and colours will remain the same as for #HIW2020. We will retain the same branding in future years for consistency.
Posters, fonts, logos, a guide for changing the colours with the RGB codes, Hex and CMYK colour charts, and short branding guidelines are available here. Posters should be downloaded and opened in Microsoft Word for correct formatting to show.
If your organisation blocks Google drive, please email healthinfoweek@gmail.com and a member of the team will email the files to you as an attachment.
As always, #HIW2021 will be during the first full week in July, which is 5-11 July 2021.
Like previous years, these are suggestions rather than requirements, so you are welcome to use any, all, or none of the themes.
The themes will be announced in January. Lists of resources on those themes will be made available in February.
COVID-19 showed us all how important it is to have high quality information for patients and the public – for COVID and non-COVID conditions.
We’re looking forward to seeing how you use #HIW2021 to raise awareness of high quality health information!
